Sponsored by the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) in collaboration with the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the International Cell Death Societ, the purpose of this Symposium is to present and exchange important contemporary scientific information as well as to honor the distinguished career of Dr. Stanley J. Korsmeyer.
Over the past several decades the study of apoptosis, or programmed cell death, has grown exponentially to become a principal focus in basic biology. This Symposium will highlight a cascade of discoveries surrounding the regulation of apoptosis and its specific relationship to cancer. Further, it will address the new vistas of therapeutic intervention stemming from this ever-expanding field. Mark your calendar for this Symposium and please visit this page for additional program information.
Online Registration will be available in early-mid October 2006.
