On October 7, Craig Mello (Umass) will visit the Joseph B. Martin Conference Center at Harvard Medical School to present his RNAi research to the DF/HCC community. Mello, along with colleague Andrew Fire (Stanford), won the Nobel Prize in 2006 for their discoveries related to RNAi interference. There will be a reception for Mello immediately following his presentation. This event is a part of the UMass Boston/DF/HCC Partnership's Annual Cancer Center Symposium. Seating is limited, and advance registration is required.
